Welcome to KRP Broadcasting, a new
face of sports broadcasting. We are here to give you a fresh
look on sports, from High School to the Pros. KRP Broadcasting
has already covered Teams and Events at the High School and
College Levels, including the CIF Southern Section Toyota Championships
and the 2007 Pacific Life Holiday Bowl. We also are the Home
of the Palm Springs Power & Palm Springs Chill Baseball
Clubs as well as the 4th annual Palm Springs Classic hosted
by: Oregon State University. Our coverage of sports does not
just start and finish in the booth, we are on the field too,
getting you as close to the game as possible. After you are
finished listening to the game, you can also download or buy
the broadcasts. Want a visual on what went on at the events?
Check out our Photo Library. KRP Broadcasting was created to
cover as much sports as possible and we plan on doing just that.

Information on the Owner of KRP Broadcasting, Kevin
Pillow
Kevin began his broadcasting career in San Diego when he was
the Morning show host for the Palomar College radio station,
KKSM 1320; he also worked for Clear Channel Communications
in San Diego as a member of the promotional staff at Rock
105.3 and 101.5 KGB.
Kevin's radio career moved him back home for a short stint
with The Big 106 before moving to Fullerton to finish his
college education, with a Certificate in Sports Broadcasting,
while also working for 92.3 KBPK as a play-by-play and color
analyst for High School and College sports. Kevin would remain
in the Orange County area for another year, after signing
with Hope International University as the "Voice of Royal
Soccer".
Completing only one season with the Royals, The next stop would be Los
Angeles and Salem Broadcasting, before moving back to the Coachella Valley.
While being back in the Desert, Kevin has worked for KDES 104.7 as a weekend
DJ, but would receive the biggest news of his life when he was made the lead
broadcaster for the Palm Springs Power. Kevin has been with the Power now for 4 seasons as well as the first 2 seasons of the Palm Spring Chill.
Kevin's dream has always been to work in radio, but never
thought of owning his own company. However, the idea began
to grow a few years ago to start his own business and seemed
like it would never happen, but now it is a reality. |
