Firewall Tutorial

MAC – QuickTime 7 (Click here if you're using QuickTime 6.5 or earlier)

1. Click on the "Listen" or "Listen Live" link on your school's broadcast page to launch QuickTime Player. From the QuickTime Player menu at the top of your screen, select "QuickTime Preferences"




2. Select "Advanced" from the panel of tabs across the top of the window (see illustration below). Then, from the "Transport Setup" pull-down menu, choose "Custom...".




3.From the "Transport Protocol" menu, choose "HTTP" and from the "Port ID:" menu, choose "80." Click OK to exit the preferences window and try relaunching the broadcast.
