Streaming Video streaming with Stretch provides
several distinct advantages...just read on!
Use
the equipment you already have!
In most cases, you don't even need new
equipment to start video streaming. Just about any
camcorder will do the trick, though you might need
a small converter unit if you're camcorder does
not have a firewire output. If your coaching staff
already has a scouting camera set up for games,
you can often use that feed! As for a computer,
you can use any Mac or PC that meets basic
minimum requirements.
Flexible
packages
With Stretch, you can choose to pay a low
per-game fee and offer your video webcasts to an
unlimited number of viewers
for free. Or you can offer games on a pay-per-view
basis and share the proceeds with us. Or, you can
offer a combination of both packages. It's up to
you! Contact
us for pricing.
We're
with you all the way
We consider our schools "partners,"
not "clients." That means we're committed
to helping you through the entire process....from
acquiring and testing equipment, to configuring
software, to troubleshooting game-day issues, to
providing technical support to your fans. We don't
expect you to have expertise in video streaming...that's
OUR speciality and we're here to provide you with
everything you need to provide a high-quality product.
QuickTime:
the video STANDARD
Ever wonder why all of the Hollywood studios
post their on-line trailers in QuickTime format?
It's because QuickTime offers the highest possible
fidelity in video streaming. Neither Windows Media
Player or Real Player offer the H.264 codec, which
offers exceptional video quality at lower data rates.
The
Stretch Advantage
Video streaming clients will receive the
same benefits our audio clients have been enjoying
for years. We provide a simple, intuitive broadcast
scheduler that allows you to post your broadcast
schedule on YOUR site.
We also provide a stats link that you can access
at any time of day or night to see how many viewers
are tuning in to your broadcast.
